Support CASA's Disaster Preparedness Initiatives

At CASA, we take pride in our distinctive approach to disaster response, particularly in the vulnerable region of West Bengal. Our focus on Child-Centered Disaster Risk Reduction (CCDRR) and community-level preparedness sets us apart as a key player in ensuring the safety and well-being of future generations. As a strategic partner with UNICEF and collaborator with the state administration, CASA stands at the forefront of efficient knowledge sharing and training programs for officials and volunteers.

Why CASA's Disaster Response Stands Out

Child-Centered Disaster Risk Reduction (CCDRR): Our commitment to empowering children in both pre and post-disaster situations is at the core of our initiatives. Through the Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction Activity, CASA collaborates with the state government and schools to pilot the Comprehensive School Safety and Security Programme in 400 schools, safeguarding the lives of over 2 lakh school students.

Different Roles to Play: Varied Training for Diverse Needs

CASA recognizes that individuals of different age groups play distinct roles in disaster response. Tailoring our training modules to specific needs, we provide comprehensive instruction to both youth and children.

Our Civil defense Volunteers and Inter-Agency Group Members play a pivotal role in pre-disaster awareness, mock drills, and overall community preparedness.
