JOB SUMMARY:

As an MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for MSME projects and initiatives. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including MSME owners, government agencies, donors, and partners, to identify fundraising opportunities, cultivate relationships, and drive fundraising efforts. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns and reporting on progress to management.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, including identifying potential donors, cultivating relationships, and soliciting funds from various sources such as individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
  2. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential and existing donors, partners, and other stakeholders to build trust and rapport, and promote ongoing support for MSME projects and initiatives. Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure a coordinated approach to fundraising efforts.
  3. Proposal Development: Prepare compelling fundraising proposals, grant applications, and other fundraising materials that clearly communicate the organization's mission, programs, and impact. Customize proposals to meet the specific requirements of different donors and funding opportunities.
  4. Donor Stewardship: Implement effective donor stewardship practices, including timely acknowledgment of donations, regular communication updates, and recognition of donor contributions. Build long-term relationships with donors to foster repeat giving and donor loyalty.
  5. Fundraising Events: Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, such as donor receptions, fundraising galas, and other fundraising initiatives. Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, track RSVPs, and ensure smooth event execution.
  6. Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on the progress of fundraising campaigns, including donor engagement, revenue targets, and expenses. Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and recommend adjustments as needed to achieve fundraising goals.
  7. Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to fundraising and donor management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions, gifts, and acknowledgments in the organization's donor management system.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  1. •    Any Bachelor's degree, in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  2. •    Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or sales, preferably in the non-profit or MSME sector.
  3. •    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising proposals and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  4. •    Strong relationship management skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
  5. •    Results-oriented mindset with the ability to set and achieve fundraising targets and meet deadlines.
  6. •    Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  7. •    Familiarity with fundraising tools and technologies, including donor management systems, fundraising platforms, and social media platforms.
  8. •    Knowledge of the MSME sector and related fundraising opportunities is a plus.

Fundraising Associate (Institution Fundraising)

About the Role: 

CASA being a social arm of Indian Protestant and Orthodox Churches in India with Church as members, the fundraising executive will be responsible to consult with the Head of Churches in their respective areas to take prior permission to spread the word about CASA’s work during Sunday Church Service. He will also be responsible for participating in various events including fete, foundation day, etc of Churches.

During the day, he would set up a kiosk and address the congregation for 5-10 minutes, sharing CASA’s activities and requesting them to visit the kiosk. Those interested in donating can either sign a pledge card or through different payment modes. Those who sign pledge cards; fundraisers will get in touch with them later and meet at a suggested convenient time to raise funds.

Frequency of Activities –                           

Fundraisers will be working on a daily basis to raise funds through Churches and Church based institutions – They will also be doing fundraising events in churches and Church based institutions - 3-4 Fundraising Events every Month.

    We seek for qualified and experienced people for the post of Programme Associate. The place of posting will be Patna. The appointment will be done on contractual basis initially for 1 year, which is renewable on yearly basis, based on the performance assessment as well as need for the project.

The Programme Coordinator will be based in Salekasa, Gondia District. The responsibility is to undertake village development programmes at 30 villages in and around Salekasa Taluka, District Gondia, Maharashtra.     CASA is a National NGO working towards transformational development and Disaster Response. We are taking up a Drought Response Programme in Medak district of Telangana State from the 2nd week of January 2020. The project duration is 4 months. The Response aims at developing some innovative approaches in managing drought. CASA is on the lookout for people having experience in Drought Management, drive for excellence, with good knowledge on Disaster Risk Reduction on Drought.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:-

    • Mobilize community for Community Action for Drought.
    • Work on regular reporting and share with Line Manager.
    • Proper documentation of all activities being carried out.
    • Visit communities in the operational villages on a regular basis and develop community group
    • Train the community groups on Disaster Risk Reduction and Alternate Livelihood approaches
    • Distribution & Demonstration of IEC material.
    • Develop field plan consulting with the Line manager as required for the project
    • Train the Volunteers identified for the programme and the CBOs
    • Motivate community to link with government activities tor sustaining the programme.
    • Financial management of the project/Budget
