Assam & Manipur Floods: We Are Responding
Many parts of Manipur and Assam are in the grip of severe floods and the situation in both states continues to be grim. According to Assam State Disaster Management Authority report, over 4.8 lac people are affected by the disaster. Hundreds are missing. Over 450 have lost their shelters. Many are staying hungry for days. Shelter and household items are some of other immediate needs.
CASA is responding to ASSAM and MANIPUR Floods
CASA conducted spot assessment in Manipur’s Imphal District in which 14,000 households are affected.
We have launched Food Distribution Program to help the families affected by the floods. We are distributing basic and necessary food materials.

We are providing basic but necessary food materials like rice, masur dal, mustard oil, salt and potatoes to the people.
